A Shining Light raises money and awareness for teenage cancer. Here’s how you can get involved in our fundraising efforts.

There’s so many different things you can do to get involved with A Shining Light and raise some much needed money for young people experiencing cancer.

Become a friend

We’re always looking for local businesses to join us as a friend of A Shining Light. All of our partners proudly display our sticker in their window and many have our cash boxes in their shops or on their counters. Others choose to contribute financially in a different way, but all of our partners are displayed on our website to give them the recognition they deserve too!

Make a donation

There are a couple of ways in which you can make a donation to A Shining Light. Check out our how to donate section for further information, but you can transfer money directly to us; cash donations are also welcome, and all money spent at our events or on our merchandise also goes straight to good causes!

Volunteer

As the charity grows and we start to attend and feature at more events over the coming weeks and months we would always welcome the help of some kind volunteers. If this sounds like something you’d like to do then drop us a message!

Fundraise

Lots of local businesses have already held raffles, bake sales and charity football matches in aid of A Shining Light – we’re always honoured when people think of us at their events. So if this is something you’d ever like to do, please let us know and we’ll get tagging you on our social media pages for some extra support!

We know we have a lot of local runners that support us. Thinking of entering a race? Speak to us first and we’ll see if we can bag you a charity place if you’re looking to raise some money for us – it’s the least we can do!
